240g Linen Yarn in Fingering Weight
A silvery grey, completely natural, organic linen yarn in fingering weight. Certified by Masters of Linen® which means it has 100% European traceability, the producers follow sustainable production practices and respect the environment by using non GMO flax, creating no waste and following environmentally friendly harvesting and retting procedures.
This specific linen yarn also holds certificates for European Flax and GOTS. Both of these certifications take into account labour conditions within the factories. The European Flax certificate also makes sure that the company complies with the International Labour Organisation.
This smooth, silky linen yarn is 8ply tightly spun to create a strong strand of yarn suitable for making jewellery/accessories or home decor items. As a skein it feels slightly wiry but straight off the cone or as soon as you start working with it you realise it is soft and glides effortlessly through your crochet hook or over your knitting needles.
