This hat is ideal for the beach, lounging in the sun in the garden or just going for a walk in the summer months.

It is written in English and you will receive one PDF which includes two patterns, one with U.S. crochet terms and one with U.K. terms. It has plenty of progress photos to help you on your way, a video tutorial and full descriptions of each stitch used.

Gauge: 15 Double Crochet (U.K. Treble Crochet) and 7.5 rows over 10cm (4”).

You will need the following:
• Approximately 65 (90, 125, 155, 180, 205, 255) yards / 72 (100, 140, 175, 200, 230, 285) grams / 65 (82, 115, 165, 190, 235, 315) meters of DK weight yarn. I used 100% Hemp yarn in DK weight or see some alternatives below.
• 4.5mm - Metric | 7 - UK & Canada | G-7 - US | 7.5/0 - Japan
• Scissors
• Darning/Tapestry Needle
• Stitch Marker

Other Yarn Recommendations
Here are some alternative sustainable yarns that I think would work really well.

  • LoveCrafts, Hoooked Wavy Blends (100% Recycled Cotton)

  • LoveCrafts, Wool and the Gang Ra-Ra Raffia (100% Raffia).
