Linen Yarn in Sport Weight
Smooth, silky, completely natural, organic linen yarn in 12ply sport weight. Certified by Masters of Linen® which means it has 100% European traceability, the producers follow sustainable production practices and respect the environment by using non GMO flax, creating no waste and following environmentally friendly harvesting and retting procedures.
This specific linen yarn also holds certificates for European Flax and GOTS. Both of these certifications take into account labour conditions within the factories. The European Flax certificate also makes sure that the company complies with the International Labour Organisation.
This yummy linen is a lovely silvery grey colour. It is tightly spun to create a sturdy strand of yarn suitable for making home decor items like coasters, placemats, table runners, plant pot covers or anything that takes your fancy. I've fallen head over heels for this weight as it glides so smoothly through my crochet hook and is super comfortable to work with.
