Pangea Back Scrubber Crochet Pattern

€3.00

The Pangea back scrubber is the sister pattern to the chevron soap saver and together they would make a great bathroom set or a valuable addition to a self care package.

The wonderful thing about this pattern is that you can make it as wide or as long as you want to make sure you can get to those hard to reach places on your back.

Measurements: The size is adjustable in both length and width but following this pattern will make a scrubber with the following measurements:

Length without the handles: 15” / 38cm approx
Length including the handles: 19” / 49cm approx
Width: 3.75” / 10cm approx

What You Will Need:
• 50g / 250 metres / 273 yards of sport weight yarn. I used 100% Hemp yarn in sport weight or see alternatives below.
• 3mm - Metric | 11 - UK & Canada | C-2 - US | 5/0 - Japan
• Scissors
• Darning/Tapestry Needle

Hemp is the perfect natural fibre for this as it is gently exfoliating and naturally antibacterial, which means it won’t ever start to smell or go mouldy in the shower. It is also 100% home compostable, so once you feel you have used it to its limit, simply cut it up and pop it into your compost. If hemp yarn is not an option for you here are some other sustainable yarn suggestions below.
